Setup

1. Install Relaylet on Windows.
2. Install Relaylet Companion on Android.
3. Put both devices on the same local network.
4. Grant notification access in the companion.
5. Open Relaylet → Setup guide, then pair using the 6-digit code.

Common issues

The phone is not found

Confirm both devices are on the same network. Ethernet on the PC and Wi-Fi on the phone are fine. Guest networks, VPNs, and router isolation can block discovery.

Notification access is not granted

Android Settings → Notifications → Advanced settings → Notification access → enable Relaylet Companion.

No artwork or queue

Some media apps do not expose artwork or a queue. Try another app to confirm the companion is connected.

Pairing code rejected

Read the current code in the companion immediately before pairing. The code changes after a successful pairing.

iPhone

iOS does not provide a general media-session API for third-party apps. Full universal control is not currently available on iPhone.
